Bath Pigs

King Bladdud’s Pigs. The great Bath Pigs project.
A fund raiser for Sustrans Twin tunnels project.

I was invited to design the Walcot Traders Pig to represent Walcot St. A street which was in existence  in Roman Bath and inhabited by the native inhabitants , hence Walcot = Cottages of the walles [British]; so blue for woad, and iron age designs seemed appropriate.
The Glass details were made in the street by Bath Aqua Glass.
The second pig was for ‘Shannon’  the scandanavian design shop in Walcot St. and had to be fun with lots of pattern.

Both pigs had to be reasonably vandal proof!
